The University of Warwick boasts an ideal central location in the heart of England and whether travelling by air, road or rail, you will find it easily accessible.
Situated on the border of both Coventry and Warwickshire, it provides the opportunity to explore the major city of Birmingham as well as the beautiful and historic towns of Kenilworth, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon.
The region is rich in history and is home to a wide variety of castles, stately homes and gardens, cathedrals, museums and galleries.

Warwick Conferences are not only nationally recognised as housing one of the widest choices of meeting space in the UK but are also proud award winners. At the Meetings and Incentive Travel Awards 2009, Warwick Conferences won the gold award for Best Academic Venue for the Conference Park and they also won the gold award for Best Conference Venue at the Godiva Awards in 2008.



Accommodation and Facilities
The accommodation is on-site which means that all the facilities are within easy reach. The bedrooms are all en-suite and include clock radio, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, towels and toiletries. Iron and ironing boards are available on request.
Bedrooms are available for disabled guests and include remote control lighting, bath lift and emergency assistance alarm.



All guests have full access to the 700 acre campus, including walks through the extensive and well maintained grounds, sports facilities, swimming pool, gym, squash, football pitches and badminton and tennis courts. Additional activities such as climbing sessions, use of the sauna and hire of equipment and towels are all available for a small charge. A returnable £1 coin is needed for use of the lockers.
There are a wide selection of bars, serving a variety of reasonably priced soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, all providing the perfect location for socialising and relaxing with other delegates following a busy and stimulating programme of sessions.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in the main Conference Park restaurant, located in the Rootes Building. This informal restaurant caters for all tastes - the award-winning chefs have developed an international buffet featuring fine and traditional cuisine to suit all palates and are able to accommodate special dietary requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are the Conference Park car parks?
Not all the car parks are next to the registration and accommodation areas. Conference delegates usually park in car parks 6, 7, 8 & 8a. It is therefore advisable to leave your luggage in your car whilst registering and collect it after you have obtained your room key. See the campus map for locations.
Is car parking free or do you have to pay?
The Conference Park offers free parking during vacation time but charges 1.20 per day in term time.
Do we use a student canteen for lunch?
The Conference Park provides excellent self-service catering facilities in its main restaurant.
Can we have a late check in?
The Conference Park reception is manned until 11:00pm.
Will we stay in Halls of Residence?
Conference Park delegates stay in student accommodation in en-suite rooms.
Where in Coventry is the University?
Just 3 miles from Coventry city centre, voted Britain's most accessible city by the CBI, the University of Warwick is sited at the hub of the motorway network that includes the M40, M69, M1, M6 and M5.
Where is the nearest Rail Station?
Coventry Intercity Station is only 4 miles from the University.
Do delegates have access to Leisure facilities?
Delegates may use the University's Leisure facilities free of charge providing they take along their room key as a means of identification.
What time can my delegates check in?
Check in for the Conference Park is from 15:00 hours onwards.
Where can I access my emails?
Conference Park delegates are able to bring their laptops onto the campus and connect to the Internet (free of charge) from their bedroom.
What are the Conference Assistants and what tasks do they perform?
Conference Assistants will be available for the duration of the event and will be your first point of contact should you experience any difficulties or problems.

What is there to do in the area?
There is a wide range of social and sports facilities available on site, including woodland walks, a sports hall, swimming pool and squash courts. Coventry city centre is 3 miles away and the towns of Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon and Leamington are close by. For more details see www.coventry.org.
